CalFresh is a state program that awards you up to $281 a month for groceries.
Think of it as a free debit card for groceries.
You will be helped by staff here at the Center who have been trained on intake procedures.
That means you don’t have to worry about being misgendered or treated differently because you’re queer or gender non-conforming. Plus, confidentiality is key.
