An Evening of Remembrance and Healing

Several community groups and leaders will convene a gathering of remembrance and healing in response to the recent mass shooting in Orlando, Florida.

The developing list of sponsors for the evening includes:

• The Office of 3rd District City Councilwoman Suzie Price
• Temple Israel, Long Beach CA

The evening will include both expressions of remembrance for those who died in one of the deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history and expressions of healing through the language of prayer, music, and call to action. “Numbed silence in the face of such a tragedy is not an option,” said Rabbi Moskowitz. “We need to remember the fallen, heal the injured and traumatized, and strengthen the building of communities based on love, pride of diversity, and compassion.”
