Mammogram & Health Fair

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Each year in the United States, more than 200,000 people get breast cancer with fewer and fewer lesbian and bisexual women getting routine health care than other women. Transgender women over the age of 50 who have undergone horomone replacement therapy (HRT) for 5 or more years should get a mammogram annually. Join The LGBTQ Center of Long Beach’s staff and YWCA Encore Program in getting health and wellness screenings, access to local health resources and participate in workshops about your health.
